Unbeatable and magnificent location for Kamloops, just off soccer tournament, Kamloops for a great price and the conference centre was located. Also, to the event. Neat rooms, impressive view of the valley.

I was disappointed to find out once I arrived at the residence that the two rooms I booked were not beside each other, after booking days in advance to find out they were sold out and could not move anything to accommate this request and reason why I booked the rooms.

Helpful staff, newer facility, location.
From its name I thought that this facility would be a hotel that also gets used by the tru students as a dorm. It was completely the other way around. This is really a classic dormitory that gets used as a motel and conference center. It was poorly signed (for finding the location) and the parking and even loading/unloading of luggage was a big hassle as there was really no good place to park the car up front to load and unload. Rooms were more like hospital rooms than a hotel.

Easy to get to but confusing to gps as same # as gym. Fortunately someone there prompted us to the correct location. Breakfast was easy to get.
The shower head fell off so wasn't able to use shower.

Loved the view
I had to get up at 1 am to see who was playing music loudly .... it was the room above me. I reported this to the desk and the music, for a while was turned down... by 2 am I had to phone the desk to once again ask that the room be made to turn the awful and wierd music down, or better yet off! It was finally done, but I lost most of my sleep time by then which was too bad as I had to drive tired next day...

It was close to the Rocky Mountain 1200 wind-up party at the Activity Centre and the price was reasonable. Also, we arrived almost 2 hours before check-in time but it was not a problem.

This facility is very convenient for sports groups. We were there for a swim meet. It is very practical and easy to accommodate everyone.
The rooms lack a sitting area, which would be very helpful with a four bedroom. There was also a lack of detail regarding the kitchen/cooking facilities and what they included/excluded. Greater detail would be helpful when booking this type of room.
